The Nedap Booster Label is a unique RFID application to boost the performance of labels used on articles such as CDs and DVDs.
RFID and metal
The performance of standard RFID labels applied to CDs and DVDs is reduced by the metal in the CDs/DVDs. This in turn reduces the reading and detection distance of the labels as such.
Optimize RFID performance
The Booster Label has especially been developed by Nedap for these library articles. Using the booster label optimizes the performance of the identification/anti-theft functions at self-service counters and between EAS antennae significantly.
