RFID Library lockers
Collect items without assistance
BiblioLoXS is an intelligent Library locker system for libraries which enables borrowers to collect reserved books or CDs without assistance from the library staff. Borrowers who have reserved books, for example by telephone or via the Internet, can collect their books from a Library locker. The lockers can be opened with a variety of RF cards (such as a national library card or Mifare card), as well as with a PIN.
This solutions has already been installed at the oldest university of The Netherlands; the prestigious Leiden University.
Less work, more time
Because of the integration with the Library Management System and the fact that your customers can collect items themselves, the number of actions that have to be performed before a book has reached the customer is decreased significantly. This frees up a lot of time that can be used for customer interaction and other matters that directly add value.
Storage
If required, the same Library lockers can also be used for the storage of jackets and bags alongside the collection of reserved articles.
